Russell Qualischefski

Director/Owner

Russell has been farming in the Lockyer Valley for over 50 years. Born into a farming family, Russell learnt from an early age the commitment and hard work required to be successful on the land. Russell’s long term foresight and experience has contributed to the groups growth and success. Russell is still actively involved in the management of the group although at a slower pace and has successfully passed the reigns to his sons Troy and Bradley.

Eldest Son of Russell & Glenda, Troy was educated on the Darling Downs and returned to the family farming business in 2001. Together with Bradley, Troy has been instrumental in developing the companies broccoli program in the early part of the 2000’s. His hard work and commitment is rewarded by the current success of our broccoli program as well as the ongoing success of our onion program. Troy has more recently made a move to the position of Manager of Qualipac Produce, running our packing shed facility in the heart of the Lockyer Valley.

Bradley Qualischefski

With farming in his blood, Bradley returned to the family farming business straight from high school. Bradley has a strong commitment to sustainable and economic farming practices and to producing quality produce. In recent years, Bradley has been instrumental in introducing new technology into our farming operation to insure best practice farming methods. As Manager of Qualipac Farms, Bradley manages our farming operations in the Lockyer Valley and Darling Downs.

Kees Versteeg

Sales and Marketing Manager

Kees has been with Qualipac since July 2010 and has worked in the horticultural/food producing industry for many years. Kees brings over a decade of experience and passion in the areas of domestic and International sales, marketing and business development to his role at Qualipac.

Since graduating in The Netherlands with a BA-Degree (specialised in International Agricultural Trade), he has a long standing record of successes achieved for various horticultural companies in The Netherlands and the Middle East.

Passionate about growers and the industry he was an executive member and since October 2014 the new chairman of Onions Australia (www.onionsaustralia.org.au), graduated as Growing Leader 2013 at the Growing Leaders 2013 National Vegetable Industry Leadership Program and keeps himself actively informed in the industry.

Glenda Qualischefski

Office Manager

Glenda has been involved in the administration side of the business since the 1980′s. In 1995, when the business set up the main office located at the packing shed site in the Lockyer Valley, Glenda took on the position of Office Manager. Glenda has seen the business evolve and grow over the years and now has two additional office staff to assist her.
